Ettie St. Pump Station

Ettie St. Pump Station Watershed includes:
Broadway Branch

The Ettie Street Pump Station discharges stormwater from a large area of West Oakland. These lowlands had drained slowly to the marsh upon which the ill-fated Cypress Structure was built. Flooding remained a problem in this area until the stormdrain and pump system was built in 1954. Flows from the Broadway Branch of Glen Echo Creek were also diverted into this system.
